Just as the symbol of Christ's cross has endured for millennia, so too has the ancient widow's mite coin in this fancy sterling silver cross pendant. Minted in Rome during the first century B.C., this handmade bronze "widow's mite" coin is over 2,000 years old. This relic is a genuine coin used in the Holy Land at the time of Christ. While the design varies by coin, common symbols include an anchor, star, cornucopia, palm branch, lily and/or reed with leaves.
