We purchased this rug for our daughter's nursery. It is beautiful and everyone who sees it comments on how cool the rug is and how great it looks in the nursery. Our daughter has not been born yet so it has not been used very much so i don't know about its stain resistant properties. We also use this over hardwood floors so you will need to purchase an anti-slip barrier for underneath the rug so it doesn't slip and slide.
