This wine is aromatic, full and densely colored, with a long finish of dark fruits. more

A fine effort from Carmel, this one from a rather unexciting grape that generally produces mediocre results. This bottle, however, is made from old vines, and is quite refined, moderately tannic, and well-balanced, with a nice finish. A very nice alternative to the more traditional varietals.

The estate was created by Aimé Sabon in 1973. Nowadays, it belongs to the Rhone Vignobles Group. The whole family Sabon still runs the estate. For all these years, the vineyard has gained new terroirs and different growths have been developed.
